This pull request implements a number of bug fixes and improvements to variable selection procedures:

stepwise hierarchical variable selection
handle multiple variables that satisfy criteria for entering/exiting the model
remove redundant variables
force variables to be included or excluded from the selection procedure
use consistent argument names and return values
display variable & metric at each in selection procedure plots
display base & final model metric in each plot
use consistent output for default, progress & details options
