Properties window: Test Target SWF mode setting a little flakey #74

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Switching the Mode setting (selecting the various different Mode settings)
will frequently cause the properties window to fail to update the
display. Perhaps the view state is not updated correctly?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the Project Properties Window and switch the mode back and forth
between the 3 options.
2. This seems to trigger the error most reliably:
2a. Set the mode to MonkeyLink (3)
2b. Set the mode to Target SWF Window (1)
2c. Set the mode to MonkeyAgent (2) - note the settings shown are the same
as for (1)
2d. Set to (3)
2e. Set to (2) - note the settings shown are the same as for (3)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm not sure which is expected, but 2c and 2e should show the same thing.

What version of the Flex SDK are you using?
3.4.0.9271

What version of the FlexMonkey are you using?
1.0 beta 2

What version of the MonkeyAgent are you using? (if applicable)

On what operating system?
Vista

This issue still occurs in RC1... on my setup, I did an upgrade over beta 2.
My
previously set-up project is using monkeylink. When I go to the properties,
the 3rd
option is selected. Click on agent and the view does not update. Click
cancel,
then go to properties again. MonkeyLink is selected still; click on Target SWF
and
view state does not update also.

I also found that switching from MonkeyLink to Target SWF also does not update.

After a lot of clicking around, it seems to get into a situation where clicking
on
agent will update the view, but not when clicking on Target SWF (both from when
ML
is selected)...

Sorry, you are correct. The fix did not make it into the release, but will be
in the next.
