I just discovered this app and am loving the extra 4+ gb ram it frees up. The only downside I see to using this over the official Slack app is notifications. The Chrome-style notification bubble can be kind of annoying if you're on many teams. I'd much prefer it integrated with notification center so I would have more ability to control notifications and access to things like do not disturb. I'm also missing the sound it makes when I get messages.
