How to keep line breaks?

All line breaks (br, o) seems to be removed when bootgrid starts.

I'm creating the table and then running bootgrid on it. Some rows have a main line and a subline, separated by br.

How can these be kept? I can't see an option to do so. When starting the bootgrid it cleans everything up and these get all smooshed together.
