rstudio.cloud error #2

Great idea with this repository!

@dtkaplan created a project (or workspace? I'm not clear on the terminology yet) on rstudio cloud that he wanted students to copy from, instead of everyone installing and running on their local machines. It's a great idea, everyone gets the same environment, and starts with a working copy.

Unfortunately, after copying his project and trying to open it, I see this error message and can't access the project:

Task 578237246 failed: Unhandled Exception: Child Task 578237247 error: Unhandled Exception: {"message":"VolumeDriver.Mount: Error mounting volume_name='volume-1069718': Failed to map image='7f69f129-33a2-42ca-ba63-c9647167c9cb': Error running command: 'sudo -u root rbd nbd map

I don't expect the owner of this repo to know what how to fix this, but I figured telling you would give us the best chance of getting it to reach the relevant people at RStudio

After deleting my project and trying to copy it again, it now works. But it is a bit worrisome that on my first try it didn't work, perhaps passing along that error message to engineering will be clear what the problem is. If not, we can close this issue and if it comes up in the workshop, we'll know to try to restart

Thanks @daattali! Yes many of us are using combinations of RStudio Server Pro and RStudio Connect to allow participants to opt out of working locally during the workshop (for example: http://arm.rbind.io/prework/options/). I'll pass this along to the team, putting the link to the instructions here: https://github.com/dtkaplan/shinymark

The best place to post issues like this is in the #hosted-support channel in slack - I’ve put a link to this issue there

i think this issue is from 2019 according to the time stamps, so it probably isn't urgent. -C
