Closes #512 (upgrades to 2024.04.2, bypassing 2024.04.1)

@fh-mthomson thank you for submitting this! This looks good, but looks like our tests don't work well with forks. I've re-implemented your PR here: https://github.com/rstudio/helm/pull/525

Once those tests pass we can get this in.
