It looks like your temp directory is set to ~/tmp, does this directory exist and is it writable?
You are right, I tracked to a place where the TMRDIR
environment variable is set and changed that. Now I am able to install this correctly. Thanks for helping.
Hi I am not able to install
httpuv
1.4.5 from CRAN. Detailed log is at the bottom.I tried the same using sudo access, but it doesn't solve the problem. Error message is identical. I started R using:
sudo su -
Revo64
install.packages("httpuv", "~/R/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-library/3.4","https://cran.microsoft.com")
Even root cannot install httpuv. We are on RHEL 7.5 with Microsoft MLS 9.3 (R 3.4.3).
