We currently have documentation on how to install the plugin in JupyterHub; however, users of that environment most likely have JupyterLab as their notebook format, thus rendering the plugin inoperable. Users who followed the docs to install the plugin were left wondering why the plugin doesn't work.
We should clarify in the docs that the plugin only works on the older Notebook format until a it is made compatible with with JupyterLab.
