Dear RStudio team, Same here! I suspect that it was the update of the package [Tinytex](Tinytex. https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=tinytex). Any information about when this could be solved is highly appreciated. Best regards, Alejandro
A downgrade to rmarkdown 1.15 solved my problem. It is not ideal but for the moment it is feasible for me.
It seems I have a lot of dependencies between rmarkdown, knitr, tinytex, and so on. I will have to investigate further my case.
Same problem here! After an update of R and RStudio, I got an error on my logs in shinyapps.io reporting that the package "unicode-math.sty" is not available. Is it possible to add it?
@reyar, thank you for opening the issue. When you write "a downgrade to rmarkdown 1.15" you mean to downgrade the package or RStudio? Thanks!
I confirm that the downgrade to rmarkdown 1.15 solved my issue and now I can produce again a .pdf file from a R Markdown document embed in my app on shinyapps.io servers. Anyhow, it would be good to upload the LaTeX packages on shinyapps.io servers to not encounter future problems with new version of the R packages.
Thank you!
This issue is closed but I still get the error on shinyapps.io:
! LaTeX Error: File `unicode-math.sty' not found.
@reyar We're still working getting this pushed out to shinyapps.io, hopefully in the next day or so. Sorry for the delay here.
Great, thanks!

@reyar this change should be live. Please let me know if the issue still exists for you.
(Btw you will need to re-deploy your application to shinyapps.io)

It finally works, many thanks! This was a big issue for me.
Dear RStudio team,
could you please add
texlive-math-extra
to your environment? After an update, there is this package dependency which I cannot otherwise avoid. Your support recommended to open here an issue. Thanks!
