Fail to install Caption package in Rstudio (Windows 10)

Dear Yihui,

I would like to adjust the caption above my tables and figures in a rmarkdown document using the "\captionsetup" function but I am having a hard time trying to install the Caption package using the following command:

tinytex::tlmgr_install("caption")

Here is the error I get:

You have a lot of No such file or directory - I wonder if your installation of TinyTeX is correct.

You can check that it is correctly found with tinytex::tinytex_root(). And that it contains roughly all the folders. I have this:

I decided to completely remove my TinyTex package and reinstall it from CRAN, but it didn't change anything. I still get the same error when running tinytex::tlmgr_install("caption")```.

Seems that I am not the only one encountering such issue. Hence, as suggested by Yihui I tried to tinytex:::install_prebuilt(), but same as explained in threads above I still get:

Did you also remove the TinyTeX installation ? There is the R 📦 tinytex AND the TeX distribution it installs. Both can live separatly.

Let's try to get a clean state:

TinyTeX is here: tinytex::tinytex_root() => note this path to check in explorer later that it has been removed
Uninstall it: tinytex::uninstall_tinytex() => it should remove the above folder
Check the path to see if TinyTeX has been removed
Be sure to have the last CRAN version of tinytex: install.packages("tinytex")
Let's reinstall TinyTeX: tinytex::install_tinytex() - it will install a prebuild version by default now.
Close and Restart R / RStudio
Is this going ok ? or do you still have the message ?

Let's try to get a clean state:

tinytex::tinytex_root() returns: [1] "C:\\Users\\wicht\\AppData\\Roaming\\TinyTeX"
Then I ran tinytex::uninstall_tinytex() and Roaming\\TinyTex path doesn't exist anymore.
Afterwards I re-ran install.packages("tinytex") and here is the version of the package currently installed:

Finally, I reinstalled TinyTeX: tinytex::install_tinytex(), and received the following warning message:
