I would like to try to running this on an x86 based server. So far I have performed a few modifications, but I am hoping to have a bit of help with debug and "porting" of this wonderful gem! Why would I want to do this? I would prefer to use an Arduino as the actual valve controller, but the server on a centralized machine (running several other programs for various other purposes). Intent is to send commands to the Arduino (through simple HTTP GET messages) in place of the GPIO commands on the PI.
Commented out all GPIO references so I do not need lWiringPi library reference. Removed this from makefile.
Would like to remove the EEPROM settings, but have not figured out how to structure a suitable replacement. Probably should just have a settings table in the same sqlite3 db.
Think I have a problem with the creation of sqlite3db. File "db.sql" is not created and as such the schema is not present in the database for the logging portion to be used.
Web page serving is broken, but I think this has something to do with referencing the wrong directory. The directory location is in /usr/share/ , but maybe it should be someplace else?
