Tried on a ArchLinux machine
Try to download a working program (e.g: get_flash_videos 
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/time-team/4od#3513423)
Try to download broken program (e.g: get_flash_videos 
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od#3512696) (this program broke 
the first time, but not after)
Try broken program (e.g: get_flash_videos 
"http://www.channel4.com/programmes/grand-designs-abroad/4od#2920279")
As far as I can tell, both old and new videos give (and don't) this issue
