Users met with invalid password on login #99

This is a strange one.

We're running WordPress 5.9, and 1.2.1 of Login with Google.

Everything works perfectly for me as Workspace Super Admin, but almost every other user in our Workspace can't log in. We're seeing the issue in both Safari and Firefox. They go to our /wp-admin page, click the Login with Google button. Then they either log in or are redirected back if they are already have an active Google Workspace session. But the site stops them there, and just display the log in form again with the message "Invalid email address or incorrect password." (See attached image) 44337540-5022-407e-be7c-cc1b9289ecb2

Hi @tmertz ,

I've checked this issue, but can't reproduce.

Do you have some steps to reproduce this issue?

Can you please also try following thing on your development/local site?

  1. Deactivate all other plugins except Login with Google and switch to default Twenty Twenty One theme.
  2. Try logging in with google in this minimal environment to check if you get similar issue.

I do not have any solid steps to reproduce this. It works for my superadmin account, but nearly everyone else is met with the message in the attached screenshot. Given that, it is not viable for me to disable all other plugins, as I am in a different country from my coworkers and therefor can't give them access to my dev environment. I know this isn't super helpful. :/

Thank you for using this plugin, I am also not able to reproduce this issue on my end. It will be helpful if you get some more details from your coworkers who are facing these issues, any small screencast video of this issue is also helpful for us.

We have again tried to reproduce the issue and were unable to do the same so we are closing this issue for now.

@tmertz If you have further details to reproduce the issue, please feel free to reopen the issue.
