Discussion of temptative issues for version 2.x

Let's have a little brainstorming about the next feature for GeoPick. In the manuscript we mentioned:

• Integration with the georeferencing calculator
• Access to other sources of reference cartography via WMS
• Standardised pre-calculated point-radius georeferences for administrative units (talk to John Waller)
• Automated assistance in georeferences other than named places (difficult)

I suspect the order for least to most difficult is: 1) Access to other sources of reference cartography via WMS 2) Standardised pre-calculated point-radius georeferences for administrative units (talk to John Waller) 3) Integration with the georeferencing calculator 4) Automated assistance in georeferences other than named places (difficult)

That may not necessarily determine what you want to develop first.

Integration requires a discussion, I think. As a start, I was thinking that GeoPick would be able to do automated georeferencing of several locality types using code taken from the Calculator, rather than having any kind of communication between the two.
