On the notifications page for Eclipse there is a native "Remove" icon in the upper-left corner, so the quick hide icon (added to all thumbnails by this extension) interferes with it.
Both icons/buttons are currently usable, so this isn't blocking functionality, per se, but it is very easy to accidentally click the wrong icon/button.
If the quick hide icon is to remain functional on the notifications page, it probably needs to be moved.
Questions:
Should the quick hide functionality even be available on the notifications page?
For simply filtering users, it is somewhat unnecessary, as most people likely don't watch users that they also filter. That said, it is arguably pretty useful for deviations submitted to a watched group (as noted in the original comment on #56).
Additionally, if #32 is ever implemented (to allow quickly filtering the category and/or keywords on a deviation), then having it on the notifications page would be even more useful.
Should the quick hide icon be in the same position on all pages?
Currently the upper-left corner is natively empty on all pages except the notifications page.
Additionally, the notifications page already has UI elements covering most of the thumbnail natively (both top corners and the lower half), so there isn't much room for anything else.
Should the quick hide icon be replaced with a context (right-click) menu instead?
This could maybe be done on just the notifications page, but it makes sense to me to keep it consistent across all pages.
This would probably be pretty simple to implement just for users (like the current functionality), since we can "pull" the username from the URL, which is what the current keyword filter context menu does. However, if #32 is implemented, it becomes much more complex.
