Describe the feature Create a backend database to store all relevant information inputted by the user. This feature is essential to making other backend features behave as intended.

I can work on or assist with this. I have already started working on an implementation of the backend with most of the backend-Controller class being written using Professor Richards' code as a guide. I would like to do some unit testing on it before we continue work on it, though. I'll link the branch to this issue.

Made a lot of progress yesterday evening, today I am aiming for a working proof of concept and some extensive testing. Fingers crossed

Going to break this feature down into tasks:

Small Tasks:

[ ] Create back-end directory structure that follows the sample app "tasks-v5" by Tim Richards.
[ ] Create the model factory file.
[ ] Create the endpoints/routes file.
[ ] Create the server file.

Medium Tasks:

[ ] Create the local model file.
[ ] Create the remote/sqlite model file.
[ ] Create the back-end controller file.
[ ] Test model factory file that it loads the correct model.
[ ] Test local and remote models with sample data.
[ ] Refactor existing code if necessary.

Large Tasks:

[ ] Replace calls to the IndexedDB service database to the back end.
