Dear wxMaxima Team,

In wxmaxima 17.10.1 the style for operators and variables in math output is controlled by the same style "variables". Since variables are frequently printed in italics but e.g. the plus sign in some fonts has an italic form which looks just terrible, I would prefer to be able to set the style for operators and variables indepdendetnly.

If you have a sugestion for a math symbols font where + in italics looks reasonable, this might also help me.

Best regards

Michael

Since wxMaxima is a separate project with a separate issue tracker, can you open up a ticket with them instead? It looks like the correct place is https://github.com/andrejv/wxmaxima/issues

I'm closing this as wont-fix here.
