Hi

Maxima 5.16.2 does not respond.

For example: iwana@goatgen ~ $ maxima Maxima 5.16.2 http://maxima.sourceforge.net Using Lisp CLISP 2.43 (2007-11-18) Distributed under the GNU Public License. See the file COPYING. Automatically continuing. To reenable the Lisp debugger set *debugger-hook* to nil. (%i1)

OS INFOS:

OS: Gentoo 2.6.24-gentoo-r8 CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS = USE = "X clisp cmucl latex nls sbcl tk unicode -emacs -gcl -xemacs"

I will try upgrade to 5.16.3 but I had the same problem with maxima-5.14.0.
