Hello, currently i am using.a program in school called Wordmat, which uses maxima. The problem is, that i doesn't work on M1 ARM versions through Rosetta 2. - So will there be an arm version of maxima in the future? - (Its the CAS feature) - thanks :)

This seems to be a duplicate of bug report #3766. I do not use Mac, but as I understood the answer that Tomio Arisaka gave in that report is that Maxima works in MacPro M1. You cannot use it because you are using Maxima through Wordmat. Maxima does not use Wordmat; it is the other way around, Wordmat uses Maxima. Therefore, we cannot solve your problem. The part that concerns us, making Maxima run in M1, seems to have been solved by Tomio Arisaka. You should them ask the Wordmat developers to make it work in M1. Or you could find some other ways to use Maxima without Wordmat as an intermediary.

The current version of wxMaxima, a different graphical frontend for Maxima, should work on the M1 Mac.
