I was disappointed to see this "rant" in bfg. It is just completely unnecessary. Politics shouldn't have a place in open source software.

If everyone received political agendas when using every open sourced util, would we all be indoctrinated? Should the line only be drawn at political agendas, or, can we use this to make money too? Maybe we can put some advertisements in the tool as well. What if we put some ads, political statements, and maybe some scripture?
