index file is not changing simultaneously with my editor #393

i synced my chrome browser with browser-sync still i am not seeing any changes in my browser even though i am changing code in my editor i have installed node js also but i don't know how to initiate npm to make changes in browser simultaneously along with my editor. please help me.
