Skills:

• pandas and parts of Anaconda
• some project managment tactics, including Github workflow
• learning form others

Aspirations: make usable and freshly updated opensource data suite in Russian economic statistics

Devils: getting too excited about small parts of programs, letting some projects hang stalled, putting coding ahead of business case.

• Python with accent on requests, beautifulsoup4, lxml, aiohttp, asyncio, pandas, numpy, etc. - data scraping and parsing - plus some experience in Flask and Bottle;
• MongoDB and PostgreSQL intermediate;
• REST API experience;
• Strong RegEx skill;
• Amazon AWS - EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC;
• Linux Evangelist;

Aspirations: Get some experience in team collaboration and cooperative development, meet new people, strengthen existing and add some new skills;

Devils: Sometimes obsessed with code optimization and refactoring, conservatism;

Background: Masters in data science, Big Data Engineer/Scientist at an MNC

Skills:

• Python - Normal scripting and utility work, NLP, data manipulations and machine learning starter techniques like SKlearn etc., Notebook, Anaconda, virtual env.
• R programming - Basic to intermediate level skills
• Java - Have worked on enterprise level application development and still a part of it.
• Apache Spark - Hands on experience with development in my current work
• Web Scrapping - BeautifulSoup, bit of Scrapy as well. Have worked on Bootstrap for front end as well. Some of the common databases, Data Structure and algorithms. Both learning and implementations.

Aspirations: Learn, Learn, Learn apart from this, work on a good python project. apply my knowledge and skills in developing something useful to the external community. Get to know other exciting people working in this domain and learn from them.

Devils: Getting too much involved when I stuck at something that even the smallest thing other than thing I am stuck at, bothers me a lot :D

Aspirations: develop Web services, any creative idea using machine learning that inspires me. Learn to code more test driven.

Devils: getting lethargic or lacking commitment after the honeymoon period of a new project ends. Need clear vision to keep up the energy.

Aspirations: currently working with big highload django projects, but a little tired from it, so wanna learn something new like machine learning and data analytics, or maybe GoLang.

Devils: I focus too much on details, pedantic and I eat a lot of sweets
