hidapi_rust's license is confusing as-is: hidapi_rust is licensed under the LGPL v3+ per its license.txtbut the source file headers contain GPL v3+ text.
On top of that hidapi-rs is states as being MIT but you cannot legally relicense work owned by someone else without the consent of all owners (the GPL text explicitly states that all derivative work must be GPL too).
The best course of action may be to ask @ruabmbua to change the source file headers to be LGPL (or relicense the original project altogether).
Edit: I now see #7 and #8 which appear to cover all the bases for re-licensing to MIT.
