exidy games have sound issues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. play any late-era Exidy game (Venture, Mouse Trap, Hardhat).
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Of the three games I tested, Venture and Hardhat have no sound and performance 
issues, Mouse Trap has sound but makes a high-pitched screeching sound and the 
game also has slow-down issues.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? v1.10 on 
iOS 5.0.1

Please provide any additional information below.
This was a bug in older versions of MAME in the code for exidy.c, as seen here:

That because the 0.37 isn't stable. There will be a lot of bugs and hacks that 
causing a lot of issues. Want those working? Then switch over onto 0.144 for 
more stable. There is no reason to bring all kinds of reports here because 
those already working on the newest stable version from http://mamedev.org/ for 
PC.

I have a life and i have done this for free... 0.37 runs the games i like 
pretty well... Anyway 0.144 seems like a very highs spec mame version, since  i 
have performance complains in this version with asm cores and  a lot hacks like 
you say... 

Said that, enjoy now and with a little of help there will be a better mobile 
mame version by me or bynother talented people out there.We want it all and we 
want it now... Like my favourite queen song said... Peace

Hey Coonstat, maybe you didn't read, but the issue I'm having is for the iPhone 
version of MAME. Telling me to download the latest version of MAME for the PC 
is of no help at all.
