Mapped Hardware key not operating while joystick is held in one direction #63

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Bind a physical key to a soft key using the "Define Keys" option
2. Run a game which supports movement + key commands (i.e: mortal kombat)
3. If you hold the joystick in one direction (to walk) and press the hardware 
key, the hardware key fails to do anything

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I can use soft key while holding the joystick in one direction, but hardware 
keys fail to trigger their command while the joystick is held in one direction

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mame4Droid 1.1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Running on Galaxy S2
