[BUG] #42

Authentication error Authentication failed with the following error:

Error: User unauthorized: silviapietroni is not a member of any authorized [groups[] errore errore1

Hi Silvia,

Can you describe what happened? For example, was the top screenshot what you encountered after clicking the green button in the bottom screenshot? Then we will be better able to help.

I can see that your github account is a member of the rubin-dp0/delegates team, so clicking the green button should allow you to log in at data.lsst.cloud. Screen Shot 2023-02-03 at 8 56 30 AM

Silviapietroni was not a member of the delegate teams when they tried to access the system yesteday. @MelissaGraham added them 5 hours ago, after which according to the logs they authenticated successfully.

Closing but re-open if this is still an issue.

I am not a team member, but was poking around to learn more about the science platform. If this is only intended for internal users, I might suggest a note placed on the link from https://data.lsst.cloud/. Currently, it is not clear that this tool is unavailable.

Thanks @caseyjlaw that's a good point, and good to know that that URL is becoming more discoverable, such that a message is needed. So far the URL has only been given to "DP0 Delegates", or posted in context with instructions on how to get an an account. We'll get a banner message up there in the next couple of weeks.
