added NB 08, Truth Tables #99

I made a few minor edits to the text (fixing typos, clarifying explanations), but otherwise it looks good. In the future, I think we might want to center the discussion around more of a "story" (a science exploration), but the current version is fine.

Two other questions, then I think it's good to merge:

Do we need the first cell in Sec. 4.2 ("number of true galaxies that are truly point sources (it is zero)")? It seems trivial/confusing?

I'm not a galaxies person, so I have a naive CMD question -- is it standard for galaxy CMDs to be plotted with the y-axis oriented bright-to-faint? Stellar CMDs are always the opposite (faint at the bottom).

That's a good point - I'm removing the first cell in Section 4.2, not sure what I was thinking! Just a confirmation I guess, but it should so obviously be zero it's kind of silly to confirm.

Also yes re. plotting faint-to-bright! I'm making that change too. Thank you!!
