Just to get things working a lot of the facebook structure got shovelled around, and now things are a bit of a mess.
Facebook uses custom plug-ins so was doing some trick to build on the development box, and then push the compiled code up. Don't know how to do that, so right now the plug-ins have been worked around. In particular the authors for blog posts must be hard coded (you can just put an authors name in and have it be looked up.)
Some how I think there is an opportunity here to replace the plugins with reactrb code...
