Hm, it was even RailsGirlsGroupApp once: #42
So it's RoRganize, now, right? Or is that just the domain name?
both i guess
rorganize muhahahahaha
rorganize.it :)
Now that we have the name purchased and it directs to our app, next step is to rename everything and spread the word!
I thought about having a RoRganize logo where the space in the first R has a ruby shape and the second R has the typical RailsGirls heart. What do you think?
Maybe the space in the o can be used, too? I think this is even bigger, so the ruby could go there. Also we could add something more fierce as well (balances out the heart ;) ). I don't know, first things that come to my mind are the classical fist and megaphone, but I don't like these... Still very much in love with the name!
yes! I'm a bit anti-heart... although I know it's the RailsGirls logo.... I like the idea of a megaphone! Maybe a megaphone with rubies coming out of it???
(with a cape with a cake with a ruby on it.....)
So, a cake with a cape with a megaphone that spreads rubies?
yes. and a unicorn.
Ok, so a cake with a cape with megaphone riding a unicorn while spreading rubies.
basically..... nothing else thou. We don't want to overdo it.
Right. Very minimalistic :D
woah. this is amazing. yes please.
Hihi! Other thought I just had - superhero / activist unicorn: Wears a cape, has a big ruby on its belly, threatens to throw a cake at evil antagonists. Ah, forgot the megaphone. Holds it in the other upper hoof?
the ultimate supercorn!
LOL! Totally not overdone!
love it, i'd say lets print some tshirts!
the megaphone should probably be pointing in the other direction thou, hey?
i like that it's actually the cake that is wearing the cape, and not, as one might assume, the unicorn...
holy crap... the seratonin levels in my brain went through the roof when I saw that thing!
I think this is closed now.
Currently the title of the App is still 'RailsGirlsApp' in the top left of the page.
What is the app called? We have not yet solved the issue of the domain, but we could still give it a more descriptive name, so people who stumble across it know what it is :)
My suggestion, based on a brief discussion with Tam
'Project Gruppe Finderinnen' heheeheh... Discuss.
