Bundler fails when creating new Rails application #1828

I'm trying out Rails for the first time, after working with Django and finding some weaknesses in its current functionali ty. After installing Ruby 1.9.3p125 and the latest version of Rails through RubyvGems, Bundler gives me an error. I've followed your instructions to report this, though for some reason, Gemfile.lock was not generated. (I should also add that googling the error didn't solve the problem, either.)

To give you an overview of my current specs: Ruby - 1.9.3p125 Rails - latest, just installed through RubyGems OS - Debian/Ubuntu 11.10 via Wubi installation Processor architecture: x86_64
