50 percent, that's half of it. Women make up roughly half of the world's population. But they rarely make up half the participant on discussion panels, on the microphone, in talk show or conferences. "50 Prozent" documents, how many women* there are.

Bumps jquery-rails from 4.3.3 to 4.4.0. This update includes security fixes.

Vulnerabilities fixed

Potential XSS vulnerability in jQuery

Impact

Passing HTML containing `` elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing them - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), `.append()`, and others) may execute untrusted code.

Workarounds

To workaround this issue without upgrading, use DOMPurify with its SAFE_FOR_JQUERY option to sanitize the HTML string before passing it to a jQuery method.

Patched versions: >= 4.4.0 Unaffected versions: none

Prototype pollution attack through jQuery $.extend jQuery before 3.4.0 mishandles jQuery.extend(true, {}, ...) because of bject.prototype pollution. If an unsanitized source object contained an enumerable proto property, it could extend the native Object.prototype.
