Two Learners Groups are starting new beginners batches: The RubyMonsters (https://rorganize.it/groups/rubymonsters) , who meet every Monday evening and the RubyStars (https://rorganize.it/groups/contentful-to-be-named) , who meet every Tuesday evening. Both groups are for women* only although the coaches are male.
If you can't make it this week, generally joining one week late is not an unforgivable sin and is easily overlooked by bringing something yummy ;)

- Ruby User Group (http://www.rug-b.de/) (meeting on the first Thursday of each month for everyone who uses Ruby, with interesting talks (although not always suitable for beginners) and networking opportunities)
- Women Who Code (https://www.womenwhocode.com/berlin) (meeting with themes from women for women in the industry)
- Heart of Code (http://heartofcode.org/) (a coding space made by women for women, they organize all different types of events)
- Cryptoparty Berlin (https://www.cryptoparty.in/berlin) (meetings with focus on data security and how you could protect yourself in the digital space)
- Codebar Berlin (https://codebar.io/berlin) (workshops for underrepresented people in tech - main languages: HTML, CSS, Ruby and JavaScript)
- PyLadies (http://berlin.pyladies.com/) (Python workshops, for women* only, also weekly meetings)
- OpenTechSchool (http://www.opentechschool.org/berlin/) (different language (like R, Python, ...) support group meetings, weekly or biweekly, open to everyone with coaches around to help)
- ClojureBridge Berlin (https://clojurebridge-berlin.github.io/) (workshops for women who want to learn Clojure)
- NodeSchool Berlin (http://nodeschool.io/berlin/) (monthly meetings open to everyone, they have different online syllabuses that you could follow at all levels with lovely coaches around to answer your questions)
- Fab Lab Berlin (https://fablab.berlin) (where you can learn more about 3D printers, laser cutters, etc. hands on)
