Copyright pictures?

Hey @lipenco, are the pictures from the women you used in the app design free to use?

hmm, i don't know. Marie - it is the old photo, so i guess nobody has a right for it, the rest I changed in more than 70% so I guess it should be fine. the faces can be changed any time, it is not a problem, if something wrong happens

ok, and do you know anything about using famous faces from stars that are still alive? It just feels a little bit weird for me since we were not asking @thatbettina do you have any knowlegde about those legal questions?

No, I don't know anything about using images. I did a quick search on the internet and found that if the image was in the creative commons or public domain, we can use it: http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/copyright-fair-use-and-how-it-works-for-online-images/ This is probably American law, however, and since we are based in Germany, perhaps someone with good legal German reading skills should check that out.

And I thought the only famous person in the photos was Grace, the first photo? If that comes from some US archive, it probably is in the public domain. @lipenco do you know where you got your photos?
