Hello! I am on vaction and will take some time to look at all the color issues in October. The general design idea of HINT is: Leave the design as far as possible to the author not the viewer. The coloring of links should therfore be specified in the HINT file. Such a feature is currently missing because I do not yet have a color concept that blends nicely into the TeX world. Just imitating the pdf primitives is not what I aim at. But of course the HINT primitives should be powerfull enough to do what LaTeX "needs" to do. Any proposals are greatly appreciated. Martin
Hi! Color is an unfinished project for HINT. My philosophy is: let the author decide on how the document looks if at all possible. So far the viewer decides only on hsize and vsize and color is something that the author of the document should decide (like \pdflinkcolor) with resonable defaults if the author does not specify colors. So I will start a HINT branch to specify color schemas in the HINT file and features to change these. I will pick up the colors in the viewer after I have added the necessary features in the file format.
The link colors are hard-coded in HintView at this time.
