Target selection jumps around after left or right clicking on selected elements.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Select element to define.
2.Left or right click to activate menu.
3.As you move the mouse to select the menu item, the target selection will
change if the mouse happens to move over another element.
4.I have to use the keyboard to manually select the menu item after
selection to keep the target definition from changing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Target definition should lock in after menu is activated.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows xp and Vista Home Firefox 3.5.6
Please provide any additional information below.

Mhm, I also use CYW with XP and Vista and I never had this issue.
I wonder what is differentin your an my configuration?
And I wonder how can I reproduce it?

I have not seen this behavior with the latest version. I think it was a 
conflict with
another Firefox add on.
