how to remove the old extension pack:

sudo VBoxManage extpack uninstall "Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack"

the uninstall command does not appear to need the version of the extension pack?

how to install the current extension pack:

$ sudo VBoxManage extpack install Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.1.14-112924.vbox-extpack
