swapping capslock and escape #415

I've been using a new 2018 macbook pro for a few months now with mixed results. It's not all bad, but I have decided to get back to thinkpads and linux.

One ergonomic improvement I will be taking with me is replacing the caps-lock key with escape.

I found a simple way to update my .dotfiles to make this keyboard change through command line configuration: https://askubuntu.com/a/830343

had to use gnome-tweak-tool to swap caps lock and escape keys on ubuntu 18.10 gnome

For the current user (doesn't work in Windows 7 or 8 and 10): To map CapsLock to Escape, and ScrollLock to CapsLock, create file (for example) keys.reg containing:
