Make Google Hangouts your default SMS app #428

Enable Phone setting for hangouts app:

Android settings > app permissions > phone permissions > toggle hangouts slide to on position

Enable SMS through hangouts app:

Then go into hangouts app > settings > SMS > enable SMS through hangouts app

Confirm default SMS app is hangouts:

Android settings > default apps > SMS > hangouts should now be selected.
