• every day the system should ask for YTB input (what I feel I was able to accomplish yesterday; what I accomplished today; and what I want to do today but am currently blocked by)
• this YTB could be played back as a weekly reminder
• allow for recommendations based on completion rates of certain tasks (this might be getting into machine learning a bit, but some interesting recommendations might be nice)
• system should allow users to make status reports for goals (similar to git commit messages for [WIP] items)

• Is this system a TODO system, based on github, but for real life?
• Does the real world work like developer workflow? Should it? Would it be more or less efficient? Why?
• what types of "real world" users would this attract? - [ ] GTD'ers? - [ ] new year's resolution slackers? (seasonal product)
• how could this tie into Evernote reminders, google calendar items, microsoft exchange calendars, google calendars,
• How far does this need to go to become an A.I. that handles personal assistant tasks in app form?

Isn't the next logical progression to have something that ties all of these systems together into an automated personal assistant context?

• so far we've asked siri and google questions. Maybe we could benefit from them asking some questions of their own?

• I'm terrible at remembering birthdays
• I'm bad at remembering to look at the calendar

I see the calendar notifications for important things, like make sure to pay a bill (personally, I typically set that for a week prior to due date).

• simple example: facebook has your friend's birthdays and integrates to google calendar to let you know when they are.
• more complex example: google wallet intercepting emails related to shipping tracking information for goods purchased online.
• [ ] value add proposition: google wallet may make it easier to look up when that new laptop you bought is coming, but an automated assistant might tell the shipping company that since you've tended to work late on Tuesday evenings over the past 3-4 weeks that it might be best to ship that important package to work instead of home to get snagged off your doorstep.
