Epic Battle Fantasy 5 - 'kong' version, regression #10058

Describe the bug

EBF5 is a game that ruffle doesn't support very well already, but the latest version of ruffle 2023-03-14 cause the kong version of the game to regress

Ruffle now (2023-03-14) (jeff ceases to exist, and the enemies on the map are rapidly flashing)

Expected behavior

there is a lot of other issues, but this is specifically about not having ruffle regress

this only seems to happen on the kong version

Tested on Nightly 27/11/2023, and it seems that the issue doesn't happening for me. Jeff does not disappear, and foes no longer flashing, so it might be playable with minor bugs like animation bugs, and other minor bugs (i guess). Did not test further.

this room half loading bug still happens on new versions of ruffle and old versions including 2023-03-13 and 2023-11-27 from my testing (at least with the steam 2.1.4 version of ebf5's swf), though it doesn't trigger every time you enter a room. it seems to be kinda random when exactly it happens when entering a room but it's not too rare so just walking between 2 room transitions for like 10~15 seconds should trigger it.
