Asking for update permission every day #17283

Hi,

I was wondering if it's normal that the extension Ruffle keep asking for permission to update, every single day, every time I restart the pc, and always the same permission as if it's a new one even though it's always the same:

I'm on Opera GX, windows, if that might have an influence?

This kinda feels like it'd be a browser bug, we introduced a new permission a while ago (maybe a month or two now?) but nothing since then.

I haven't heard anyone else complain of the issue, either.

Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension?

Just did, will tell you if I get the message tomorrow when I turn the machine on! (I did think it wasn't normal at all, I couldn't find any report of it when I searched)
