Programme cannot even start.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Opening the programme 2. 3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I've attached a screen capture of what I see. (Picture 3) I can only click "Quit" and not "Restart".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? I'm using Shakespeer 0.9.11 on Mac OSX 10.5.6

Please provide any additional information below. I've tried deleting and re-installing the programme but I can't open the programme (Picture 4)

From markus.m...@gmail.com on March 16, 2009 15:53:42 First, it seems from the second screenshot that you only got 422 KB of the file, when in fact it is 4.7 MB. That is why it won't mount. Try downloading the file again and make sure you get the whole file this time.

Second, move or delete the folder "/Library/Application Support/ShakesPeer" and run the application again (after having downloaded and installed it in your Applications folder). The mentioned folder contains for example the hash database for your shares, which may be corrupt.

Can you try these suggestions and comment here again?

I've tried the above suggestions but still got the same message "Server has unexpectedly died. You have found a bug"

I also installed it in my Applications folder and restarted my computer but it still does not work.

Any idea? Thanks! Really appreciate your help.

Just to be sure, could you completely remove the mentioned support folder, and also remove the preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/se.hedenfalk.shakespeer.plist).

Also, please attach the logfile from sphubd (~/Library/Logs/sphubd.log)

From ibi...@gmail.com on February 27, 2010 22:18:55 Hi, I have faced the same problem. When i go to preference of shakespeer, it shows zero byte of date is shared while i have shared more than 20 gb of data(movies and songs) in two separate folders.

In the application support folder, there is no folder of name shakespeer. More over, I could not find sphubd.log file on my leopard.
