What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Opening ShakesPeer
  2. Waiting approx 1 min
  3. Then bug happens

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? This not happening and it functioning normally.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.9.11

Please provide any additional information below. I originally thought that the following was the log of the error, but have since installed the missing program and it hasn't come up since.(attachment)

From markus.m...@gmail.com on January 14, 2009 08:41:27 So, this isn't a bug anymore, can I close it?

rufuscoder commented 11 years ago

From hypnotiq...@gmail.com on January 14, 2009 18:16:17 Sorry, I didn't include a sentence I thought I did. This IS still a bug. That bit at the bottom was what I thought the error was, but unfortunately it didn't fix the issue of ShakesPeer consistantly closing within a short runtime. Do you want logfiles or something of the sort? If so, I would just need you to direct me as to where they would be (folder-wise).

From markus.m...@gmail.com on January 14, 2009 19:17:50 There is an "Open logfile" menu item in ShakesPeer, use that one to find the file easily, then commandclick its window title when it's open in Console.app to see the path. Attach that file to this bug report.

From markus.m...@gmail.com on January 15, 2009 08:02:05 Are you sure this happens every single time? Also, what file system are you using? And how much free space on the disk where your download folder is?

rufuscoder commented 11 years ago

From hypnotiq...@gmail.com on January 17, 2009 03:32:32 Last night I ran a maintenance program called Onyx; it runs the maintenance scripts and other cleaning functions; and the problem seems to have subsided. Maybe it was a corrupted file that got cleaned?

Regardless, as of now, you can close it for now, but if it re-emerges, do I re-post, or re-open this?
