@rufuspollock Thanks for the ping. Wow Bib.JSON is a great initiative (definitely the same idea - only json is more for interchange and machines :-) and text is for humans e.g. many more shortcuts and incl. comments etc.). Will try to find the time in 2018 to learn more and connect (e.g. exporting to Bib.tex and Bib.json from Bib.txt, for example). Again keep it up. Prosit 2018!
