No text in Windows Terminal #4

Overview

Windows Terminal has become the default console for Windows 11. Although it is still possible to open the former Command line or PowerShell, the Windows Terminal can generate both consoles, support additional features and additional shells (like WSL). Since it supports Tabs and offers a very intuitive scrolling mechanism, it has become my favorite tool to handle CLI programs.

Problem

When pressing the key combination to generate a virtual window from review, I get the message:

No text to display

I can open cmd.exe and check that my addon works just fine in other windows, but for some reason, Windows terminal doesn't.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Windows Terminal (any means, like pressing WINDOWS, then typing terminal, then RETURN) ;
  2. Press the key combination to capture the review and create a virtual window.

I am getting this error everywhere. How do I use Command line or PowerShell? When I open cmd.exe, I'm getting this error. When I open powershell I'm getting this error. This addon used to be my most used addon, now since I upgraded to windows 11, I can't use this addon for console work. I would love a work-around, as to say not having this addon to copy and paste errors is a productivity killer is an understatement.
