What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable tabbed browsing
2. Use and RSH-enabled app
3. See the spinning ball icon on your tab spin indefinitely even though no
data is being fetched from the server

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

This is a known browser bug, but there are workarounds documented on the
Web. We should try to implement them.
