After build, I get a lot of very deeply nested directories under rumpobj for no apparent reason...

eg

./rumpobj/rumpxenpci/home/justin/rump/rumpuser-xen/rumpxenpci/dev/lib/libphy/sqphy.o

Is there a rationale?

I don't see a path above. But judging from the email I got (which did include a pathname), it's an artefact of the same dual source tree lossage we struggled with in the rumprun repo. I think I couldn't figure out how to make object directories work except will full paths.

so if you want to fix it, go ahead ;)

I think I will ignore it for now, maybe just leave this here in case people are confused...

Yea, ignoring is probably ok. an easy solution would be to follow rumprun and copy nblib into rumpsrc, an remove the symlink nonsense from buildxen.sh
