screen stays on when charging phone while powered off #18

First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH! for bringing lineage OS to the Titan and thank you so much for all your work. I literally just created a github account to report issues here, because I guess it will be easiest to track them.

Regarding the screen issue, when the phone is turned off and is plugged in for charging, the screen shows the charging animation and then instead of being turned off while charging it just shows a black screen. Pressing the power button brings back the charging animation and again once the animation times out the screen stays on and is all black.

I tested this with release v1.1 and v1.2

The behavior is consistent between v1.1 and 1.2?

After turning off 'Wake screen for notifications' the screen starts turning off fine.

No that is not the issue. I have Wake screen on notifications set to off because I don't like it (see my first attached picture). As far as I know that also only affects the phone when the system is booted completely. I can confirm that the behaviour is consisten between 1.1, 1.1.1 and 1.2. I also attached pictures in case it helps. Sorry for the bad quality I took the images in lower light settings so that it is more visible No wake on notifications phone powered off plugging powered off phone into power source charging animation screen stays black while charging

I will look into this eventually, but i wouldn't count on it changing. I think this only occurs when charging.

Hi, could this be related to https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/5334 because in this case the user said that he fixed it by flashing again fw only. Would it make sense here?
