backwise selection for glmm #56

Dear all,

I am using step function for backward stepwise selection of lmm model. However, i haven't found which function i could use for similar/comparable (including methods and parameters) stepwise selection of glmm model. Do you have any suggestions for the function?

i noticed a dredge() function from the MuMIn package to perform model selection, but it's based on AICc. But i don't think it's comparable to the step function for lmm...
