Yes, We will have to remove the "release-as": "0.9.0" flag and set the .release-please-manifest.json to be 0.9.0 in the next PR.

This is similar to the patch release process

Note: This is only for the first release as we don't want to go 1.0.0, all subsequent release versions will be auto generated based on the commit titles
